Hello Tractor: Low-Cost Smart Tractor
Hello Tractor sells low-cost, cloud-enabled “Smart Tractors” embedded with GPS and telematics and connects farmers to owners of these tractors via an SMS-based booking service. With $150,000 in funding, DIV is supporting Hello Tractor’s first year of operations in Nigeria; further development of its software; and testing of a model to increase the uptake of machinery by selling tractors across a wide range of users within Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
