Innovation Description
T21, a low-cost, sustainable solution, is a social learning platform that delivers a holistic suite of services including career navigation, skills-building, mentorship and employment networking.
How does your innovation work?
Our platform is highly accessible (internet/mobile, Arabic/English) and orients students towards employment._Career navigation includes detailed access to labor market information and career pathways, assessment tools, and action planning. The skills building component will be tailored through collaboration with thought leaders from Oman, and includes an emphasis on project-based, collaborative, and self-directed approaches, as well as practicing these skills in relevant workplaces and entrepreneurial settings. Their mentorship model links students to post-secondary and professional mentors, while their employment services provide students with access to site visits, shadowing, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Planned Goals and Milestones
75 million youth are unemployed globally, with the most dramatic effects for Arab youth. The Omani government The Minister is committed to youth employment through innovative, high impact solutions supporting entrepreneurial activity for Omani youth.
